Compass poppies

Today we had to use the compass so we can make a perfect circle for our poppies that we made for the
anzac ceremony on thursday.I have learned how to use the compass and I have learned what the radius is.To use the compass you have to put the pencil through hole then tighten it up and when you a going to do the circle you have to put the sharp bit on the paper then you can turn the paper or move the circle. We made the  poppies for the anzac ceremony on thursday.Major John McCrae’s poem, In Flander’s Fields, was supposedly written on the evening of the 2 May, 1915, during the Second Battle of Ypres, in memory of his great friend alexis Helmer which died in the war.The number of 888,246 was chosen for the poppies as that was the number of Commonwealth soldiers killed in the First World War.
