Skateboarding T1W8
Today for kiwi sports Martin and Aiden taught us about skateboarding. When we arrived Martin explained what was going to happen and what we were going to do. We had to grab a helmet and inside the helmet was things to protect us so we don’t get hurt eg knee pad, elbow pad and wrist pad. Then we started to practice skateboarding with one foot on the board and one on the ground. At the end of the session we got to ride the skateboard with both of our feet on the skateboard and it was a lot of fun.
Next week we will be learning new tricks and we will be learning how to turn the skateboard.
This is my reflection about Kiwi Sports that came to our school and taught us about skateboarding and safety gear.
